On Amazon Prime, you can easily see your Watch History to see all of the TV shows and movies that you’ve recently watched. To see your entire Watch History, you’ll have to go into your settings — and we explain how with this guide below!
To see all of the movies and TV shows that you’ve recently watched on Amazon Prime Video, head to Amazon Prime Video and click on your “Settings”. Then click “Watch History” at the top of your Settings page. You will then see all that you have previously watched by date!
There’s a lot you should know about your Watch History on Amazon Prime Video, including what you can and cannot do with it. Keep reading below to find out even more!
Amazon Prime Video does show your viewing history and also allows you to go into your own Watch History to see exactly what you watched on what date.
This Watch History goes back throughout your Amazon Prime Video subscription, so you’ll be able to find what you watched years ago in some cases!
Your viewing history will show everything you’ve watched, whether it be a TV show or movie. If you’ve watched a TV show, you can also see what season of the show you watched, as well as what episodes you watched.
All of your Watch History is ordered by date, so you can see what you watched on what day. This is even broken up by episodes, too. So, if you’ve been watching a TV show for the past few days, you’ll which episodes you watched on which specific days!
If you’d like to check your Amazon Prime Video Watch History on your computer, you should:
- Go to Amazon Prime Video
- Click “Settings”
- Click “Watch History”
You’ll be able to see all of the movies and TV shows you have watched in the past here!
Unfortunately, you can only see your full Amazon Prime Video Watch History on your desktop. However, when you are scrolling through the main page of the Prime Video app, you will see a “Continue Watching” section.
This “Continue Watching” section is all of the movies and shows that you have started watching, so it is a part of your Watch History. This is a great way to search for a show or movie you’ve started, but stopped.
Now, this isn’t a full Watch History list like the one you can find on your computer. But it’s the only option you really have when you’re on the app!
Much like with a mobile app, the only way you can see the full list of your Watch History ordered by the date you watched it is by going on your computer. You cannot see this when browsing through the Amazon Prime Video app on your TV.
However, you can also see a “Continue Watching” section on the main page of your Amazon Prime Video app, just as you can when using the mobile app. This section can help you find a recent tv show or movie that you’ve started watching.
Unfortunately, it will not be a full Watch History list, though.
Are you looking to delete some of your Amazon Prime Watch History? Luckily, this is very easy to do on your computer! To do this, you should:
- Go to Amazon Prime Video
- Click on your “Settings”
- Click on “Watch History”
- Click the “Delete From Watch History” button on the show or movie that you want to delete
You’ll have to delete your Watch History one by one, title by title. While you can delete this from your Watch History, the deleted titles will still naturally show up when you scroll through Amazon Prime, they just will no longer be in your Watch History!
Unfortunately, you can only delete your Amazon Prime Watch History on a computer. You cannot delete your Watch History on your phone through the Prime Video app.
Similar to what we discussed above when talking about deleting your Watch History on your phone, you also cannot delete your Watch History on your TV. The only way you can do this is by going on your computer and deleting the titles there using the method we explained above.
To view your Watch History on Amazon Prime Video, you should first start by going to the main Amazon Prime Video page. Click on your “Settings” and then click “Watch History”. Here, you will be able to see all your watched titles and delete any that you’d like to!
