Yes, you can rewatch episodes on Amazon Prime. Unlike some other streaming platforms, Amazon Prime doesn’t make it very noticeable how to change episodes or how to go back and watch a previous episode.
However, you can rewatch episodes on Amazon Prime. As long as you are a Prime subscriber, you can watch and rewatch episodes as often as you’d like! Below, we explain how in detail!
If you’d like to watch a previous episode on Amazon Prime on your computer, you should:
- Click the show that you’d like to watch, leading you to the show’s page
- Click the season of the show from the dropdown menu under the title
- Scroll down and select “Episodes” at the bottom of the page
- All episodes of the season will show, and you can choose the episode here to play
It’s that easy! Even though this method is incredibly easy, it can often be a bit hard to find out, as Prime Video doesn’t clearly show the episodes at first. You have to search for the button to click at the bottom.
Watching a previous episode on the Amazon Prime app on your phone is very similar to the method we discussed above. To watch a previous episode on Amazon Prime’s app, you should:
- Click the show you’d like to watch to head to the show’s main page
- Pick the season from the dropdown menu beneath the show’s title
- Scroll down to see the episodes listed below and click play
Unlike on a desktop, the Amazon Prime Video mobile app actually immediately shows the episodes available to watch when you click a season. On a desktop, you have to click the “Episodes” button. Here, you don’t have to worry about that extra step!
Looking to turn off Amazon Prime Video’s autoplay feature? While autoplay can be nice sometimes, it can also quickly become annoying — especially if it accidentally cuts off an episode’s ending!
Luckily, Amazon knows that a lot of people may not like this feature. They’ve allowed you to turn off autoplay on any device or account. To do this, you should:
- Head to Amazon Prime Video
- Click Settings
- Click Player at the top of the page
- Under Autoplay, select off
On your mobile device, you can also stop autoplay by heading to your settings and clicking to not allow autoplay to be on your device!
For some odd reason, Amazon doesn’t clearly lay out all the episodes of the season on the show’s main page as other streaming services do. Instead, people have to search for episode lists by season.
On the Amazon Prime Video mobile app, the episodes of the season are actually listed immediately on the show’s main page. This makes it easier to scroll through the episodes of a given season and then click on which episode you’d like to watch!
On your computer, things are a bit different. Episodes aren’t immediately shown when you click on the show’s main page. Instead, you have to scroll down and find the “Episodes” button. Once you click that link, you’ll be shown all of the episodes of that given season below!
If you’d like to rewatch an episode on Amazon Prime Video, you can click on the show to head to the show’s main page. Find the season you’d like to watch by using the dropdown menu beneath the title. Then scroll down and click “Episodes” to see the episode list!
